Hi! I’m Amber

I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, I’ve always been a beach girl, growing up with the sunshine, sand, and waves.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Services Counseling from Old Dominion University in 2002, where I immediately entered the fields of Child and Adult Protective Services.

After over a decade in social work, motherhood shifted my focus and I pursued business to business sales as well as built multiple profitable online businesses.

I had longed to learn real estate, recognizing the opportunity to leverage my background in social work and sales. The idea of combining these skills was always an exciting and intriguing.

An exciting opportunity arose to relocate my family to the enchanting Gulf Coast of Florida, where we had vacationed on Anna Maria Island for the past five years. We quickly decided to move and pursue our Florida Island dreams!

In this new phase of our life, my partner of 19 years also works at Salty Mermaid Real Estate and Rentals as the head of the maintenance division for the rental properties. Our daughter is preparing to enter high school next year.

I truly feel that the combination of my social work background and sales experience makes me a unique and valuable asset to my clients. I believe that I have the ability to connect with clients on both a real and professional level, while utilizing my strong knowledge of the SWFL and Island real estate market.
